Great razor for college guy 2012

The PT 730 provides a decent shave and convenient features like the ability to rinse out the heads with running water. It looks nice and handles well. However, it's results don't feel any better to me than the lower priced Norelco 7310XL.

Pros:
* Nicely styled with classic Norelco triple rotary heads.
* The highly polished shaving heads are very smooth and comfortable.
* It is easy to clean with a pushbutton opening for the shaving heads that allows them to be cleaned out with a puff of air or a stream of water.
* Very good battery life (over two weeks for me, but then again, I am an Asian ...).
* Comes with charger, cleaning brush, and AC charger.

Cons:
* It's a little longer than my old 7310XL, and the only reason seems to be that the tail end of this one is more pointed to make it look more sleek.
* The patter on the shaving heads is such that although it is slightly smoother than my previous Norelco, it also takes longer to shave. Specifically, the shaving heads are a combination of tiny holes and slots whereas the older shavers have just slots. The result is slightly more comfort but definitely more time to get the job done. I'd personally rather be done faster since the old shaver was not UNcomfortable. This one is just slightly more silky feeling.
* It costs more than the still available 7310XL. About 1.6 times.

Conclusion:
If someone gives you one of these, great! Nice shaver. If you are going to go out and buy one, I would get the 7310XL and save the money. I gave it four stars because I do like the shave, and I feel that there would be many who would value the slight edge in comfort over the 25% faster shave of the 7310XL.
