Works well, but horrible smell!

Yes, this is a vine review. BUT, I am in fact the mother of a 4 month old baby girl (G) who I do purchase pampers for.

My daughter does not have an issue with dry max, so I buy regular pampers. Thanks to the Vine, I was able to receive a box of the sensitive.

I think they're pretty great, but not as great as the regular ones. It might just be my box but they seem to have a different fit then regular pampers causing them to leak on a fairly regular basis if not put on just right. We just started using them and my husband keeps joking he must not be very good yet at diapers because he had to completely change our soaked daughter twice in a couple hours because she urinated and it just ran out the side.

They just feel baggier. G has no issues with the regular pampers so she does not need to be "sized up".

I love how soft they are but...

I hate how expensive they are. I would happily switch to sensitive because although G does not have an issue with dry-max, I'd feel better not using it. Wouldn't it be cheaper to make all diapers without chemicals?

Speaking of chemicals - these smell like powder so if you're hoping for a totally "free" type of diaper - these still are not it.

I do not see myself buying these again in the future, even though I do recommend them.

If you must have a sensitive diaper they're fantastic, but because I don't need them I can't justify the cost. These diapers work very well, and although the style periodically changes as I've read others mentioning, they are good. The latest shipment I received no longer has a yellow stripe that turns blue to show when it's wet, but that's not really essential to me, as the fullness of the diaper tells me what I need to know. The one thing that I do like is that the inner lining (which touches baby's bottom) is the smooth material, as opposed to the mesh lining which I've heard others found was not as comfortable for the baby. A previous shipment I had was with the mesh lining and I didn't notice any problems, but it did sometimes leave an imprint on baby's bottom; the main thing is that the smooth lining seems to work very well and leave no mark or irritation. I do have very mixed feelings about all the of the waste created by diaper use, but these ended up being the most economical and practical solution for us, and the diapers hold a lot well, so we're hopefully using them as effectively as possible! The pricing on Amazon is also very competitive which is great, too.
