Good if it works as expected

As a product looks and quality is very good.
Product documentation is pathetic. As someone else mentioned there is no where in manual where you find what "ERR" actually means.

When I first switched on, Batter meter was showing all three bars and ERR message. Common sense when you see all 3 bars is that the battery is full.. but why ERR? I charged as mentioned in the manual for 4 + 2 more hours, so that I see green light in the AC charger. Now the ERR is gone. was able to start and stop the Inflator. But all the reading were showing in KPA. But I wanted Psi metric. As per the instruction I pressed both - and + both at the same time and holding it for more than 60 seconds and nothing happened!!!

Called up Amazon for a replacement, and I got it today... to find out they have shipped an open product. Just curious to check it out, I checked , even in that I was not able to change the metric from KPA to Psi.

Called up B&D and was advised to return for a new one. Also get to know that ERR means battery not charged and the battery meter doesn't make any sense.

Also, the both these are from 2009 batch. Hence you get a two year old battery which sounds not good for a new product.

Now I have ordered another replacement. Hope this one is good. Else all are going back to Amazon.

UPDATE:
Finally got a good working one. Even though the product pack looks opened and re-sealed (you can see a cut in 4 hours charging sticker), I kept it as the product looks new.

The high volume inflater could not inflate a balloon, wondering how its going to inflate a bed firmer, I guess after inflating first with this, I will make it firm with my Coleman hand pump.Coleman Large Dual Action Hand Pump
I've had this thing for a short time now, and if it doesn't break down, it is a pretty nice unit.
Tip #1) I worked a small amount of grease into the pivot points of the locking shrader valve connector, and handle locks and unlocks much more easily. This should reduce the stress on the thing and keep it from breaking on you.
Tip #2) If you are going to use this pump for bicycle tires, the Topeak Pressure-Rite adapter is well worth the eight bucks. The folks who were having trouble with it weren't using it correctly. All you have to do is make sure that (after inflating) you disconnect the pump from the Topeak adapter BEFORE unscrewing the adapter from the tire valve. There is a one-way valve in the Topeak that prevents air from escaping. Then when it is unscrewed from the tire, only a minute amount of air escapes, keeping the tire inflated to the pressure you want it to be. This way, you won't have to be concerned about how long it takes you to remove the somewhat uncooperative pump connector from the Topeak.
