3-In-1 Lawn Mower with Removable Battery Sale 2012

I'd been looking at cordless electric mowers for about a year before I finally decided to take the plunge on this 14" Worx mower. This is my first non gas powered mower and I have to say that I absolutely love it. I love it so much that I want to mow the lawn everyday now! I have just over 1000 sq. ft. of lawn to mow and this mower is perfect for the job. It's extremely quiet, very lightweight, easy to maneuver around things, plenty powerful for it's size, and built well. It even does a surprisingly good job of bagging the grass, though I normally mulch, which it also does well. I have to comment on the battery life. I've seen some comments about it not lasting for the full 6000 sq. ft. it is rated for. Let's be honest here for a minute. If you have a 6000 sq. ft. lawn, or even a 3000 sq. ft. lawn, you shouldn't be buying this mower anyway. Get one of the larger cordless mowers. Again, I love it and think it's great, but if I had a bigger lawn I would want a bigger mower. When you have what is effectively about a 10" cutting path, 6000 sq. ft is going to seem like you're mowing Texas. So, think of the battery rating as a maximum and consider it as I do; that you can mow the 1000 sq. ft. lawn a few times before charging it. Don't think of it as "oh, I can mow my 5900 sq. ft. lawn with this" and then be upset that the battery died at 4000 sq. ft. because the grass was 6 inches tall. Basically what I'm getting at is that I think the battery on this mower is FAR larger than it needs to be for a mower this size. If it had half the battery I think it would still be big enough for the mower. In my opinion! So, if you have a small lawn, buy this mower, love it, and use it! If you have a larger lawn, get one of the bigger models.

Well I'm sure the Worx mower could be a good mower if they actually shipped you all the parts for it. I bought this mower and it came missing the lower handle. If you read other reviews you'll see I'm not the only one this has happen to. I feel stupid for not listening to the other reviews because at the time it seemed like a great price for the mower. I've tried several times to contact Worx customer service dept. It seems they maybe have two people working at the customer service dept. and you will be lucky is you get a hold of anyone on the phone. I sent numerous email through there website and no one has gotten back to me. Finally after 6 weeks of trying to get a live human being on the phone, a person at the parts dept. and the part that I need won't be in until the end of July because it's on back order. Awesome! No not really since I have this mower for almost two months that I can't use. The person I spoke to in the parts dept. said that Worx often ships mowers with missing parts that are on back order. Really, this is how this company does business? I will never buy another product from Worx and hope you all don't either. Go buy a different mower from someone else.
