Product works, but is not for me

I was in a rush cause I didn't order an oxide online and ran out of pre workout mix, so I went to a local GNC. Remembering that this product has had numerous good reviews online, and was claimed to be the #1 selling pre workout supplement, I went ahead and gave it a try. As for my protocal, whenever trying out new pre-workout oxides I start at one serving no matter what ( 1 scoop ). I just recently finished using neurocore, and I had high expectations for this product.
First time using this at the gym with 1 scoop, I felt slightly tingly. Didn't feel the crazy pump or rush of energy though, nor the extra concentration and endurance. Got burnt out fairly quick that day. Second day I bumped up to 2 scoops. Might have been placebo, but I tried to life heavier and tried lasting longer. Third day using I decided to take maximum dosage. Started feeling nauseous mid workout and ended my day there. Since that time I've limited myself to 1.5-2 scoops with this product, and didn't gain much effect. After about 10 days I've concluded the results that I gain from this product is the equivalent to a caffeine high.
I stopped using this half way into the bottle and went back to other pre-workout oxides. i tried jacked after hearing about it from my boyfriend and his roommate. they both go to the gym almost every day and are not body builders but both in good shape. they liked the way it helped them during their workouts.
i didn't want to build muscle so i was skeptical at first. i was interested in the way jacked would help me breathe by getting more oxygen to my muscles.
so far i've used jacked only to help me during runs, and i love the results. before i started taking jacked i would get winded after 1/3- 1/2 mile. i tried by taking the recommended amount to start with and didn't feel any difference at first so i started with 2 scoops to begin with. within 2 weeks i was up to 3 scoops. i think i have a higher tolerance to the ingredients because the guys haven't even gotten up to 3 scoops. i can tell how your body builds up a tolerance because i started back at 1 scoop after being sidelined for almost a month from an injury.
i do notice the slight itching feeling some people have complained about, but i only feel it on my lips during the first few sips of drinking. a friend that i recommended it to gets very itchy in her hands and flushed cheeks shortly after taking it, but she said she's hooked. she even went to gnc and bought c4 after trying my jacked.
even though it says to mix into 6-8 ounces of water, i always mix my jacked into a full 16 oz bottle of water to make sure i'm not dehydrated. that is a big danger while taking this supplement. make sure you read the bottle and drink the recommended amount of water during the day! (the creatine in it) also this way the flavor is not as intense. my first jar was the grape bubblegum and that was much harder to drink. i like the lemon lime much better. i think next i will try the raspberry or watermelon or fruit punch.
even it if just works as a placebo (which some on the internet suggest) it works for me, and i'll pay the $22 (price on amazon when i bought it) for a jar which lasts me months.
