The strap is very comfortable and is a good design. It has two prongs on the clasp so it doesnt fall off easily. Also, the middle part of the watch band is slightly raised and rough, so that the thing that holds the band close to itself doesnt slip and need to be adjusted. The end of it is raised sharply so the band doesn't come away from itself. The band is bent at the top so that it has a good grip on your wrist and doesnt spin around it. It is surprisingly comfortable and breathable.
on the back of the watch, there is a cool looking dragon. The back of the watch is separated from your wrist by a circle of plastic, which is comfortable and lets your skin breathe.

The sensor will not touch your arm unless you frequently bend your hand back >90°.
At 63 grams, this watch is very light, and you may not even notice that it is there.

This is the best digital watch you can get.

EDIT: The signal reception is also way better than my old watch,which couldn't even receive under my blanket. This one receives the hour after I go to sleep, no matter where I am, it hasn't missed a receive yet. This is a great watch and all the previous reviews helped immensely in making the decision to get this watch. I'd like to add that calibration of the temperature sensor is really very easy. Use the manual that comes with the watch. Understand how to use the buttons. Then go to a trusted temperature readout source. Keep the wrist watch on your wrist and set the temp to temp source. Now's the time you'll see the ambient temp includes your body temp too. Recalibrate to get it to temp source and you're all set. Barometer/Altimeter functions are handy but I've not used them yet. The functions of stop watch, alarms w/ snooze, world time, timer are the ones I use most. The stop watch feature if it would have included a pedometer for walking/running too would have made this a swell device. Maybe that will be included in another model of Riseman.
