Genesis GMT15A Multifunction Oscillating Tool Deals Cheap 2012

This tool is very helpful, great a small projects around the home. The cutting tool works excellent for drywall and soft wood ( like baseboards ) for anything the needs straight edges like wall outlets and switches or recessed vanity mirror. The sanding tool saves your fingers in the tight corners and edges, i have not yet used the scraper tool yet, but by the using the other features of the multi-tool, i think it would be just as effective. I like the sturdy feel of the construction, doesn't feel too plastic-ky ( light-weight or cheap ) and yet not too heavy. A couple notes, it is noisy 7/10, on some cutting and sanding feels like you have to use a bit more pressure to get the job done. And after continued use it does tend to heat up, let it rest between cuts and sanding. I really like the ease of switching the tools and angles, very simple, one allen-head bolt and curved washer, snugged tight and go! This is a great tool, especially for the price. I used this tool and its various attachments during a home project, and this oscillating tool was incredible. Here are the details of the tool usage for our project:

-Cut baseboard molding already attached to wall
-Cut outlet holes in beadboard
-Cut through nails that were at a difficult angle to pull out
-Mortise door hinges on new door
-Detailed sanding
-I can think of many more uses for this tool around our home

This tool saved so much time and effort on an otherwise lengthy project. It's comfortable to grip; you can set the attachments in at different angles, making it easier for the user to hold and cut; it's powerful, yet easy to control; and it cuts through material like a hot knife through butter. Don't be fooled by the price, as this tool is fantastic and high-quality. Buy it if you're looking for a great tool to add to your collection. ''
