Hands down the best tasting Vanilla flavored whey on the market

I've been lifting weights for over 16 years, of which a few were spent in competition powerlifting circle. Due to too many injuries/surgeries, I've really eased off and now workout religiously for myself and for my well-being. I've tried pretty much every single protein that came to the marketplace, starting from the original MetRx formula from way back in the day. When EAS came out with the original Myoplex formula, it was like a Godsend. I thought it was the most amazing tasting protein ever. And back then, it probably was. Boy how things have changed over the past 5 years or so.

Fast foward to present day and you've got yourself a plethroa of protein brands, formulas, and flavors. A few years back when Muscle Milk hit the market, I thought flavor-wise, it won't ever be beat. But today I stand corrected. Syntha 6 Vanilla Ice Cream is hands down, THE BEST TASTING PROTEIN EVER! It really tastes like vanilla ice cream. I mix mine with skim milk and it is as rich as real ice cream. It's hard to believe it's so good not only in taste, but also good to feed the muscles.

I use Syntha as my last "meal" of the day. About 30 minutes before I hit the sack, I'll slam 2 scoops with skim milk and it keeps me fed until I wake up to 50g of whey in the morning. This protein by no means is your answer all. It's a supplement to a proper diet and training regimen, along with a good whey protein. You could actually use this combined with a good whey protein as a "meal replacement" too. There's enough calories and fat to stand as an in-between solid food diet, your 2nd, 4th, and 6th meals of the day.

BSN's syntha 6 protein mix (chocolate flavor) is the best tasting protein shake I've had. I've tried muscle milk, EAS, Optimum Nutrition, Six Star Muscle etc. all pale in comparison to Syntha 6 in one important aspect: This tastes "good" with water. By good I mean better than a completely neutral taste. I do indeed look forward to them, but they don't elicit the same reaction as a fresh pizza say. In the world of protein however, this is a monumental leap forward. Everything else is fairly self-explanatory. This is a mix of proteins and contains casein. This means that it's good for controlling appetite and releasing protein slowly throughout the day. I'd recommend a whey protein bar to have after you workout at the gym, but you probably could do without. Just make sure you're getting at least .6x your weight in pounds in protein grams, preferably .8x.
