Minnetonka Women's 3-Layer Fringe Boot Sale 2012

I ordered these in black in a size 8, as I have another pair of Minnetonka boots and a pair of their moccasins in size 8. When I got them, they were uncomfortably small, so I returned them and ordered the 9. Now they are perfect!
Like my other Minnetonkas, there is not a lot of padding, and no arch support, in the sole, but I bought inserts for my old boots and will do the same. That makes them very comforable.
These are very cute, and I like the sound of the fringe hitting the boot when I walk! I ordered these boots at the beginning of the fall season and I love them. They are great for cool and cold weather. I ordered a size 7 (which is my true size) and they still fit perfectly. I wear them almost everyday. They are so comfortable I can wear them for hours at a time. They make any outfit look so good. I love my leggings and these boots make the outfit smokin'. When I wear them, I get so many compliments. I did spray suede protector on them to make sure they didn't turn colors. I have actually just ordered a second pair but in black, they are just that amazingThese boots are absolutely adorable, and so soft. The first day I wore them (with tights), they were super comfortable -- a lot of the reviews mentioned a lack of arch support, but they're essentially moccassins, so that's to be expected.

The second day of wear (also with tights), the gorgeous layers of fringe had slouched down considerably. The aesthetics of it didn't bother me so much -- they looked about two inches shorter on my leg than they had at first -- but all the bunching made them suddenly very uncomfortable. The folds of suede jut into my achilles heels now, rubbing them raw. Socks help with this a little. The suede is very soft, so I didn't expect the boots to be stiff, but I expected them to hold their shape better than this. If the rubbing continues, I don't know if I'll be able to keep them. :( So sad, since I love them so much otherwise!

I got the black ones, and the color rubs off for the first few days, so wear socks you don't mind ruining. As for sizing, I'm generally a 7.5-8 and ordered an 8, which fit perfectly in the foot. I just wish the calves were a little more snug!
