Fit and Comfort Crocband Winter Boot Sale 2012

I just received these boots a day ago and I've worn them twice already. Especially being from northen jersey there is a lot of snow on the ground aswell as ice it is hard to walk in normal walking shoes. I slipped many times before I realized I needed to invest in some snow boots. These boots are fairly light and very comfortable. The design is alright but I take comfort over aesthetic for the current conditions. So far they have been good to me but make sure to order a half size up as people suggested. I have very wide feet and thicker calves, so I was worried these might not fit. I wear anything from a 7 to an 8.5 depending on the style and width of a shoe (I normally net out at a 7.5 wide). I bought a size 8 in these boots and they fit great! I was worried that they might be too stiff at the front part of the boot or too tight around my calves, but not only are they roomy around my feet, the top of the boot is wide enough for me to tuck my jeans inside! I wore them the last time I was up in Rochester, NY and despite the snow, my feet (and jeans!) were warm and dry. If you wear a half size, I would definitely recommend going up to the next whole size. I don't usually wear thick socks, so that might effect the fit, but these kept my feet very warm with my regular socks, so thick socks aren't necessary. Overall, these are inexpensive, warm, comfortable boots that fit great! I just got my crocband shoes black-size 10W.Normally I have 9W on my other crocs.I recommend to compare your footsize with the size chart on crocs.com before you odrer (they have it also in metric,which is fine).Shoes look good,they are really comfortable and very light.Easy to clean and your feet stay dry (tested in snow).They have tiny bumps on the sole,so they dont slip.I was happy with fast delivery to Europe (UPS,it took 4 days)on the other hand,the shipping cost almost as much as the shoes,but its worth it :-)Anyway,it was still cheaper,than to order here in Europe.In total: I really got,what I expected.
