ER-GN30-K Vortex Wet/Dry Nose and Ear Facial Hair Trimmer has surpassed

I had a Panasonic trimmer that I bought from Sharper Image that I used for years. It worked great, but eventually died. When I looked for a replacement I found out that they didn't make that model anymore. At the time the reviews of the Panasonic trimmers indicated that they weren't as good as they used to be, so I bought a Mangroomer one. The Mangroomer worked well enough but only lasted a year or so (water from rinsing it leaked through the seal into the motor and battery compartment and everything got corroded).

I bought this new model Panasonic about a month ago and found it to be as good as the Panasonics of the past. The motor is very quiet (much quieter that the Mangroomer) and they have added a little drain hole at the bottom of the base. This drain hole is important so that water can drain when running water over the cutting head to clean it. The cutting heads stay cleaner and I haven't had to disassemble it to clean the cutting heads, as I had to with past trimmers without the drain hole.

These trimmers are all pretty much the same. The quiet motor and the little drain hole make this one a little better than the others that I have used. Only time will be the judge on the durability issue, but overall I think this is well worth the couple of dollars more that this trimmer cost me.My prior ear and nose trimmer stopped working and I needed to replace it quickly. I visited two websites that were offering this product at a great price point. One of the websites was Amazon. I read the reviews for the product on both websites and the reviews sold me on the product. I placed the items in my cart around midnight and decided to finish the order in the morning. As life would have it, the product was out of stock on both of the websites by morning. Timing is everything. I located the item on a third website for about 60 cents more (used a coupon) than the excellent price that Amazon was offering it for. I ordered three and I am glad that I did.

The Panasonic ER-GN30-K Vortex Wet/Dry Nose and Ear Facial Hair Trimmer has surpassed all of my expectation. The design is functional and easy to hold. The On/Off switch has a positive action. The trimmer clips the hairs close and does so quickly and smoothly. I was in pretty bad shape by the time that it arrived. It took about a minute or two to complete the trimming and another minute or two to clean the trimmer. I absolutely did not experience any pulling of the hair. The trimmer cleans up quickly and thoroughly and Panasonic offers replacement blades. This trimmer is by far the best trimmer that I have ever used.

There is a reason that this trimmer has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.
