Just wanted to update my review of this stroller.

Just wanted to update my review of this stroller. Shortly after I wrote my initial review, I was given an older Graco Quattro Tour stroller (the "Cadillac" of strollers - heavy but plush!), so this one was relegated to a backup. After I purchased my BOB (I'm a competitive runner, not one of those people who has a jogging stroller to go to the mall!), it was entered into rotation too. So, in all, I have 3 strollers right now, and they all get used about equally I would say (I gave up the dream of "the perfect stroller" long ago! Nothing wrong with having 3 if you have the room for it - they are all good for different activities!)

ANYWAY. This one wound up living in my trunk most of the time, as a sort of quickie "Oh hey I might want a stroller" option. It did get a fair amount of use in the last 9 months, but not so much on bumpy sidewalks anymore, more in shops and things. This past weekend, somehow, the padding on the handle up and cracked. It's not a huge crack, yet, but it's super unsightly and right where my hand goes and very annoying.

Also, the wheel squeaks. And I'm 5'6", and it IS a bit short for me (especially compared to my Bob). The handle padding was just sort of the nail in the coffin on this stroller. I think it's time to send it to consignment store heaven.

ALSO... My son is in the 95% for height. I could not get the shoulder straps to come out of their default (shorter) setting for the life of me. There's only 2 slot options for height, and it is permanently stuck on the lower one. Gah. Annoying!

Time for it to go. I will admit to being a little sad to see it depart - this was the stroller I took my first baby in for his first walk ever! But, it's just not doing it for me anymore. Maybe it can go live a nice life at Grandma's, or in Daddy's Trunk or something.

Meanwhile, I will start looking at tandems for upcoming #2! And if I want a lightweight option, I'm going to stick with Maclaren or something a little higher quality. This one did always feel the slightest bit flimsy. This stroller is the best stroller on the market! If you want something lite and easy then this is for you!!!! I put it together in 3 mins flat! It has the look of an expensive European stroller and cost so little! So not hesitate to purchase! It is a smooth ride and can turn on a dime! I have owned every stroller on the market and every travel system and this is the BEST! I only have one small complaint....the recline is good but the mechanism to recline the seat is a little generic but for the price I can get over it. I would give this stroller 6 stars if available!
