Overall this is a very good television. I use it off of a direct tv box

I ordered this TV based on a number of reviews that raved about the video quality when connected to a computer. When it arrived, I was extremely disappointed--it was set up to overscan, and there seemed to be no way to fix that. Fortunately, one of the reviews here explained how to do that, and I was able to adjust the image quality to what I'm pretty sure is as good as it's going to get. I suspect this really is a good TV for the price, but if you want to plug your computer into it for any reason other than gaming, it's not the monitor for you--text is fuzzy, not crisp, and no amount of fiddling helps with that. Also, the TV does not support HDMI+analog audio (I knew this before I ordered it, and it wasn't a deal breaker, but I mention it here because it took some serious spelunking to figure this out).

So if you are looking at this because you want to buy a 32" TV, you can probably ignore my whining, but if you want it as a computer monitor with speakers that's also a TV, I'm afraid you are barking up the wrong tree. The Samsung 32" has an outstanding picture. This is the best TV that we have in the house and we have everything from larger LCD, Plasma and smaller LED. Before buying this set, I tried a 32" Phillips and a Vizio which were both sent back because they each had issues. The Phillips could not see the resolution properly from my Direct TV box and was a real pain to keep resetting the resolution of the Direct TV box. The Vizio screen was not good and varied in brightness depending upon where you stood and took a long time to start up. The Samsung starts quickly, reads my direct tv box resolution perfectly and is overall a terrific picture. The audio is surprisingly good as well. A few things of interest:

TV does not have an S Video connector. It does have a couple of HDMI and Regular component and antenna connections but no S-Video.

TV is thicker than the 1" thin units but is still thinner than the older style units. Unit is pretty light and easy to handle.

The underneath joystick type menu and controls button is a little wierd but I never use it anyway. Remote is perfect.

Motion - this TV handles fast motion like sports extremely well.

HD Quality on this set is absolutely outstanding.

Remote is nice and small about 6" long and about 1.5" wide. Easy to use button layout.

No angle adjustment on the stand. Stand attaches easily with a few screws and can be removed for wall mounting.

Menu functions allow for a lot of control and adjustments.

Overall this is a very good television. I use it off of a direct tv box and as a back-up with an over the air antenna. Both signals provide an excellent picture.
