Hotas Warthog Joystick 2960720

Honestly, I bought a PSP3000 for my stepson. I knew he would love it and he does. I then saw that a lot of the old playstation 1 games that I played years ago were available for the psp. (Like the early Final Fantasy games etc. So, I bought one for myself. This is the kind of machine that all us guys playing Electronic Quarterback back in the early 80's dreamed about. Even with the relatively small screen the graphics are excellent. I found the battery life to be very impressive. It doesn't last forever, but from a full charge it will generally outlast me. I also like the downloadable games, even though I really didn't think I would. When you buy a game online and download it, you actually get several licenses for the game (I think 5, but I know at least 3) so I was able to download the games for my psp, my stepson's as well and our playstation 3 if I wished. Very nice in the case of two player games (We bought Madden 2011) so that I didn't have to buy a separate copy for my stepson and for me. If you buy one I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have and thank you for taking the time to read my review.
I was ready for the worst after reading several PSP 3000 reviews here and elsewhere. However, in my opinion...

...this is an awesome little unit for listening to music, watching videos, looking at photos, playing games, and browsing the web. My wife owns an iPod Touch and the PSP 3000 puts that device to shame. The PSP 3000 is much more user-friendly, easier to load up with photos, mucic, and videos than the iPod Touch, and the user interface and file conversion is much better. I'm not sure what all the positive buzz is about on the iPod but for my money and time the PSP 3000 is hands-down easier to operate and maintain (especially the file sharing and uploading functionality).

Best of all, there's no quirky i-Tunes store to have to mess with, just convert and transfer the files like with any hard drive or flash drive...it's just that simple! Plus the PSP 3000 user interface just looks and works better than the iPod
