INCREDIBLE headphones for the money on this 2012

Included in the package (as pictured above) are an 11 foot cord , a vinyl drawstring pouch and a screw-on 1/8" to 1/4" adapter. It should be noted that there are two models- the one I have with the "s" at the end, meaning a straight cable and also the coiled cable model. Every other aspect of the headphones are the same between models.

The build quality of the headphones is quite nice. They take general abuse well. They only issue I have had at all is the stress-relief coil on the headphone cable by the 1/8" jack pulled out of the connector. This is probably easily fixable and I have not contacted AT to fix it, but I'm sure they would be quite helpful judging by past experience with customer support. The fold up and are solid once done so. The vinyl pouch doesn't do much more than keep them clean and protected from scratches, but it is still nice. I'm not worried that these headphones will break under normal usage.

As for comfort, these headphones are made to be worn for long periods of time. I've worn them for hours and fallen asleep in them no problem. They are large enough to completely cover your ears without squishing them. Others who have tried my pair on have agreed; often times you forget you're even wearing them.

The sound quality is the most impressive part. These things sound amazing! They have nice, crisp highs and clean mids. The bass is fantastic; I have never had a pair of headphones that has such strong bass. For the price (often little more than $100 street), I have not tried a pair of headphones that comes close to quality. The clarity of the headphones on even sources like iPods pumping mp3s is incredible. I use them for everything from their intended use with pro audio applications to casually listening to music.

I would not hesitate recommending these headphones to anyone looking for a nice pair in the $100-200 price range. They are comfortable, sound great, and are priced nicely. If you are looking for a pair of solid headphones, look no further- you've found them.
