Great product and does what it says for the BG2040/34 Philips Norelco

I bought this as a gift for my hubby. As in previous reviews, we were looking for something specifically for the "region down below". As a wife that cleans her hubby up - I not only needed it to be easy to use - I needed it to work on him without the nicks, cuts, or other dangers involved when shaving this sensitive area. Can I just say - WE BOTH LOOOVVED IT! It was very easy to use and performed the job beautifully! We both enjoyed the closeness of the shave and that it was able to reach all areas - as another reviewer described - the nuts, bolts and sack they came in. It also did an amazing job on the back door!
So - go ahead ladies - get this one for your man and enjoy the adventure of shaving him clean! I bought this for manscaping. For a long time I had simply trimmed and occasionally used a razor but any cuts or irritation is so much worse when its downstairs. And the mere idea of hot wax near my boys is terrifying enough, so that's out. So what to do? The ladies definitely prefer a cleaner look and from a personal hygiene standpoint so do I. So I got this and went to work. My initial plan was to just clean up my usual trim job but everything was going so well and looking so smooth I just kept going. Now I don't know how I got along all these years with one of these. You can use the adjustable trim guard to leave a lot or a little or use the other end and be completely smooth. Great product, pole, pouch, and starfish approved. If you are looking for a body groomer/electric shaver get this. A definite buy. Philips Norelco Bodygroom BG2040 is fairly large. It has a good nonslip grip, that works well even in the shower. While the grip works in the shower, the trimmer itself had lack luster performance when wet. It worked well while dry. It cut hair evenly and has not nicked my skin, even in sensitive areas. The adjustable trimmer length is a nice feature. This product has been very easy to clean. I haven't had to charge it beyond the initial charge yet, but I have only used it a few times so far. I would recommend this trimmer, however it is a bit pricey for a body groomer.
