Great Headphones especially for the price 2012

I'd been looking at headphones for about a month or so looking on various headphone review sites when i finally came across the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 set. I was looking for a great pair of headphones between 150 and 300 dollars, so these were on the low end of my search, but i'm glad I made this choice. I had seen nothing but great reviews of these headphones so i decided to check them out, and now I'm adding another great review of them.

I listen to all kinds of different music; rock, hip-hop, country, alternative, folk, classical, reggae, blues, jazz, techno, psychadelic anything you name I listen to it. So I didn't want a pair of headphones that could only do justice to certain kinds of music. These headphones do a great job with all these kinds of music.

Bass(4 of 5)- these headphones have great bass that is very precise and has a great punch. They are great for listening to hip hop and techno giving the songs the needed bass. The only reason i gave them a 4 is because their are headphones out there with more bass which i wasn't looking for

Acoustic(5 of 5)- you can hear every minute detail of any acoustic song. You can hear each individual guitar pick and has a perfect sound for it. that being said they are not made specifically for this so there are headphones better at acoustics if that's primarily what you're looking for. (Grado Sr225i's are great)

Classical(5 of 5) great for all kinds of classical music, i especially like the sound of string music with these headphones. you feel like you are at the concert.

Live Music(5 of 5) live music just sounds stunning with these headphones. It feels like you're at the concert. You can hear the artist taking breaths to sing his next line.

Sound Stage(4 of 5) not the best sound stage but very good considering that they are closed back headphones. They fill your whole head with music not just your ears.
