The short of it: Best shaver on the market!

I've had this shaver for over 2 years. I use it every single day. People can't believe I use and electric when they ask. It cuts very close, but no rash. I do clean it after every use with the included cleaner. At first I wasn't too happy with the performance, but once I did a little looking, I found the correct formula.

You must shave BEFORE you shower, wash your face or apply any type of lotion. Every morning I get out of bed, shave, and THEN shower. Additionally, I shave my whole head, not just the beard. So my shaver has gotten quite a work out.

My experience makes me wonder about all these good reviews
Years ago I had a norelco for convenience and it was better than the foils of its' day. It was quick but not a great shave so as I got older, switched to blades. Seeing the ads and these reviews I thought to try the "new" shaving experience and went with the top of the line model.
Well, I had to press hard and go over areas so many times that every little raised imperfection in the skin was irritated.
The trouble spots on the neck just did not get a close shave and I found myself going over them with a blade any way. I consistently got a rash and burn.
Braun said satisfaction guaranteed so I called the customer service and was advised to continue using it and it would get better.
WATCH THE RETURN POLICY DATES. By waiting, I found out that there was a very short window with returning this to Amazon. I never had that problem with any product here but it cannot be returned because I gave the machine a third week, which did not make any difference at all. It is a bad patchy shave with skin irritation and embarrassing redness after use. This thing lists for more than $250.00 and has multiple replacement parts and expensive maintenance. So, I have done my duty: YOU ARE NOW WARNED.
