Pressure gauge dial could have been expanded for more accurate

There's not much I can add to what has already been said, but I would like to confirm:

The auto-off feature is great. It is not louder than any comparable units. It doesn't dance around the floor like the last one I owned. I bought it mainly to use in the garage (110v), but I like having the 12v option. Plastic, but pretty solid feeling; I expect it to last awhile. The two-year warranty is a plus.

Yes, the 110v power cable is short, but it doesn't matter because unless it was really long, you'd still need a 25' extension to get around a car anyway. So it might as well be short for storage.

Pressure gauge dial could have been expanded for more accurate settings, but it works well enough. It took me one tweak to get the first tire spot on, and then it was locked in for the other three.

I think the hose/wire storage compartment could have been designed a little better. The 110v cord & air hose connect inside, which makes packing everything (including the 12v cord) a little tight. Note: The air hose coiled tighter with the valve lever closed, but the instructions say "Always leave lever up when not in use". Also, the on/off switch is right behind the handle, so I kept accidentally turning it on when moving it around the car.

This unit isn't meant for pumping up low pressure, high volume things like air mattresses.

Overall, I like it and would buy it again. I even got one for my Dad. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the storage compartment, dial, and switch design, but all are relatively minor.

After using it for nearly 2 years, I increase my rating to 4.5 stars. Functionally it's great, and I'd only subtract a partial star for some minor design flaws (I mainly wish the gauge dial had more detail). Both units are still going strong, and definitely would buy them again.After much online research, the Black & Decker ASI300 (in 2008, when I bought it) was the only brand-name inflator at a reasonable price that was around. I've been satisfied with its performance for the 1 year+ that I've had it, though I do have a few issues.

Pros:
-The unit is compact and I like how the air hose tucks into the unit itself.
-The inflator is a bit noisy but not deafening by any means.
-The biggest advantage of this item, though, is the reasonable price and relatively reliable brand name behind it.

Cons:
-The a/c cord, as many people have written, is far too short. Buying an extension cord isn't a big deal but it is all but a necessity for anyone that doesn't have an outlet within a couple feet of each car tire.
-The inflator dial is not digital and does not allow for exacting PSI settings. You turn the dial and hope it's in the range of whatever PSI number you're looking for.
-The inflator dial is extremely small and hard to see and read. And the dial range is so small that you can't tell what PSI you've set: is it 33 or 35 or 37? Good luck trying to get any level of accuracy.
-The d/c cord, which plugs into your car's lighter outlet, is sufficient for small cars (I have a Toyota Prius), but is probably too short for anything larger than a mid-size sedan. In this case, I don't think there's any easy fix.
