On the plus side, though, it does work up a great lather. The shaving cream is much softer than the Poraso, so the first shave, I really dug the brush deeply into the bowl and got way too much for one shave. That problem was quickly recognized. If you have any whiskers at all, all you need is a dab on your brush to get a rich lather. At the end of the day, I probably won't buy this one again, though. Just "meh"I've been using the good ol' canned gel shaving cream ever since I started shaving. I'm giving this product a 5 star rating because it really does smell good and it applies very evenly. I felt the product has the right amount of thickness or viscosity to it compared to a canned gel that basically foams up and sits on top of your skin. I never really felt like those gel's were doing anything! This stuff, on the other hand, feels like its pasted on the skin. I felt the scent was very strong when I opened the container, and I expected this as several other reviewers have mentioned. Don't be alarmed though, when I rinsed my face off, most of the scent went away, leaving just the right amount of fragrance. I got NO nicks or cuts. I did get razor burn though...BUT I blame that on myself for having just starting using a safety razor for the first time ever (might have been using too much pressure and not using a pre-shave oil). I will likely buy more of this in the future. The amount in the bowl looks like it will last a long time. I think normal cheap sunscreen sold in local mart would be fine for most of people living in the states. However, we have a daughter whose skin is very sensitive and moreover we need to apply suncream pretty thick in order to protect the skins from hot sun for longer period of time. We keep searching the sunscreen as mild as possible and tried almost every kinds of brands, banana ***, california baby, cooperton, and etc. Among many brans we tried, this mustela sun cream is the best in not harming my daughter's sensitive skins especially for high protection rate of SPF 50. Thinking her skin was irritating and sometimes have some reddish spots with other sunscreens even though we tried to wash the cream off as much as we can, this mustela cream sometimes left overnight without completely washed off (My daughter often forgets to tell us that her teacher at daycare applied the cream on her), it normally doesn't seem to hurt her skin. Not not at all but almost no harm to my daughter's quite sensitive skin. This cream is pretty expensive in price and that's why it lost one star but other than that I am satisfied with it and would like to order it again next summer.My 3 year old has eczema, in the first few months we quickly ruled out Johnson & Johnson products, our pediatrician recommended Cetaphil products; Cetaphil smelled good and worked fine for his skin, but I still had to use a shampoo on his hair as the Cetaphil left his fine hair brittle and tangled. After all this time I decided to look for something new, and found this Mustela 2-in-1. Skeptical of the shampoo portion, my pediatrician said it is another good brand for sensitive skin, so we tried it out anyway. LOVE IT. It makes his hair SO soft and managable, without looking dirty or oily in any way. It actually does a better job than the shampoo/conditioner I was using that was not for sensitive skin (which is why I wanted something new). I also love the smell of this product. It is light and clean. My new favorite product for my toddler's bath time, I plan to stock up.
