It's sort of silly to get really excited about having a new faucet, but that's how I feel about this. Very excited and just thrilled with it. Pros- It took my husband under an hour to install including taking out the old faucet. The instructions were very clear Left-handed mount easy to do! My whole family is left-handed so that's a really nice feature. Easy to use once installed The bottom of the sprayer head is a full 8 inches over my sink offering lots of clearance for my stock pans Shiny chrome works well in my kitchen, very attractive faucet Feels substantial Moves easily from side to side Pull down action for the sprayer head works well. A counter weight pulls it back smoothly. Cons- None so far. It's easy to use, and since a kitchen faucet is one of those things used daily and taken for granted, it's wonderful to have a faucet that works with your cooking and life style. This is that faucet for me. It is set up in my home for left-handed use and the large stock pot that I use for canning fits neatly under it. The sprayer is long enough to use it to rinse dishes easily. Beautiful and convenient, it's a marvelous and easy addition to a kitchen. I'll edit this review if there are any future problems with it but at this point, I love it.We've wanted to change our kitchen faucet for the past several months but...and this is a big but... we didn't realize how tall this Moen faucet is. We have a cabinet over the sink and the space between the top of the faucet and the bottom of the cabinet is about 10" inches. The Moen is approximately 2" above that. So, we knew we had to take out the old cabinet, and it was time. We hadn't replaced any of the hardware in quite some time. This Moen faucet is breathtakingly beautiful. It has a one-handle design on the right and a pull-down spout that's very elegant, especially when washing vegetables. The installation will set you back at least 1 hour. And, you'll need at least another person as the set is heavy and you'll need someone else to hold up the faucet because there's an interior weight that has to be applied underneath the sink cabinet. Here in Miami, the water definitely has some residue problems. We have several bamboo plants that we keep in glass holders and the when refilling the water, a white residue has to be wiped. I'd also recommend that if you have this problem in your area is to invest in a good water filter/ purification system before installing this pricey set. Moen...buy it for looks....definitely! 5 stars.
