I work at the big orange box store and have handled and used several of the other brands of oscillating tools. By far and away the Bosch is head and shoulders above the rest of the pack. I found that it is actually quieter than both the Rigid Tool and the Dremel.
The Bosch in my opinion easier to handle and has a great range of speeds. The down side of the Bosch variable speed is where the control is located. It would be a lot easier to change speeds if it was located where you could thumb up and down without moving your hand.
I'm presently utilizing the tool during two bathroom remodels. I've used the cutting blades to cut the old underlayment close to the built in vanity base and along the edge of the tub. The Bosch performed above and beyond what I expected. The thing to remember with the oscillating tool is to let it do the work and not get in a hurry. It is not as a fast of a cut as a circular saw so just be patient.
The Bosch comes with a bag to carry the tool and blade case in. I've found it is large enough to hold both. The plastic box that is supplied for blade and sanding pad storage is nice. It has slots for the bigger blades to set down into to keep the blades for rubbing each other and becoming dull.
Overall I highly recommend the Bosch MX25EC-21.
12.17.11 Update: I've had this tool now for over 90 days and it continually keeps on amazing me as to the tasks I can accomplish with it. In my master bath remodel I'm having to trim the bottoms of 4 door casings to allow the new thicker underlayment, Ditra and tile to fit in under. The MX25 makes easy work of the job. It is easier to trim the casings and slide the new tile under the casing and trim than it is to try and cut tile to fit next to them. Also makes for a neater looking installation. The only downside I've found on the MX25 is that if you use it alot, then expect to spend additional monies on new blades, especially the plunge cut 1" blades. I'm now on my third one and on the second 3/4 round blade. Blades are fairly expensive, but still an acceptable cost because the MX25 gets the job done.
