Looking at the options, this is a great value. You're buying a motor with cheap blades. The motor has a two year warranty, the blades won't last long, but even going out and buying some decent blades leaves the cost much cheaper than Dremel Multi-Max and most of the other options. The key to buying blades is knowing the pin locations. These pins are 7/8" diameter, anything compatible with the Chicago Electric (which is usually listed in descriptions)will fit this tool. I've found the Versa blades to be of decent quality and fairly inexpensive. I find myself using this thing all the time, incredibly handy and versatile. As a final note, this is the saw technology used for cutting off casts, the blade vibrates and does NOT cut your skin - I suppose if you got to the bone you could have some trouble, but I've actually put my hand on it while it's running without any trouble, your skin is flexible enough to vibrate with the blade rather than tear. Update: I'm nearing a year into ownership and the motor continues to work fine. I bought a house to flip and couldn't believe how often I used this thing in the remodeling process - it's not intended for heavy duty cutting but I used it for some long cuts on thin wood (usually 1/4") and thicker soft wood. I have replaced blades and have found the Harbor Freight blades work as well. Looking at the recent Amazon price, I'd say watch the Harbor Freight sales and you could do better on the price, but even at $40 it's well worth it. New - My review was seen on Amazon and the company called me. The part was sent out UPS and an extra wood blade was sent as well. The product has been very helpful getting some Christmas items made this year. Now that the company has fixed the issue even after this amount of time I can say I am impressed they keep up with what the customer has to say. Old - Got the product and everything looked good. Went to go use it and found out the bolt that holds the blades on was not there. I called customer service twice and got a call back after the second message. Not bad so far. They promised to mail the part and I would have it in about 2 to 4 days. I waited almost two weeks and still no part. Called again and left my third message. I have never heard back and never got the part. I have rigged something to work but was really un-happy with this purchase.
