I've had this unit for 2 years now and have used this thing during winter to keep a poorly heated room comfortable.

Pros:
+ It comes with a remote control! Perfect for when you don't want to climb out of a toasty bed to adjust the temperature.
+ It has the option to oscillate side to side to blow the heat evenly.
+ It has a digital thermostat that allows you to see the exact temperature in the room as well as the set temperature.
+ It comes batteries included (for the remote control).
+ When the unit is running, it's fairly quiet, no louder than a floor fan.
+ I used it to keep a 14' x 14' room warm very easily.

Cons:
- There's no carrying handle for the device. It's really awkward trying to carry this unit. The only way I can carry it with one arm is by tucking it under my arm at the side.
- Because it draws a lot of current (900 and 1500 watts), the power cord will get fairly warm to the touch. I wouldn't ever leave the unit on or plugged in if I'm not around to use/monitor it for fear of something catching fire.
- The beeping sound is very loud when adjusting the settings (by remote and by the unit). There's no option to turn the sound off. Every degree/setting that is changed will result in a loud beep.
