The weight loss industry worldwide is worth Billions of dollars and the slice of the market for the various weight loss pills and potions is a growing part of that as people search for 'easy' ways to lose weight. The truth is that you can take all of the pills and potions you want but if you are still eating food that is full of fat or sugars then you WILL NOT LOSE WEIGHT! Through my years as a Coach I have had many clients who want to lose weight but didn't feel they could and plenty of them have turned to weight loss pills, drinks and potions without success. The only thing they ended up doing was spending a lot of money! There is currently a weight loss 'tea' on the market here in the UK that costs nearly £100 for a 40g packet of tea - why would you spend that much on a few cups of tea? More to the point why would you spend that much and then keep eating foods that keep you overweight? It seems as though people want to lose weight while still eating all of the things that made them that way in the first place; well here's some truth that might hurt - you can't! It's that simple; if you want to lose weight you need to stop eating all the high fat, high sugar foods and concentrate on a healthy diet. When you've lost the weight you want to you can then indulge 'occasionally' in the treats but the truth is that if you want to lose weight and keep it off forever then you need to follow my 7 keys to weight loss: 1 - Eat more water rich foods - 70% is your target! 2 - Combine your foods correctly - figure out which foods help you and which foods don't - plus never mix proteins and carbohydrate foods in the same meal! 3 - Control your consumption - Guess what overweight people do; they over eat - don't! 4 - Eat fruit effectively - There are certain times of the day when you should only eat fruit and you should only eat fruit on an empty stomach! 5 - Breathe correctly - Whether you are exercising or not (and I really suggest you do!) if you learn to breath correctly you can stimulate your body's waste system and turn it on automatically. 6 - Know your outcome and set your targets - If you don't know where you are going all roads lead to nowhere! 7 - Create a big enough why - With a big enough why you will never achieve any target - what are your reasons for wanting to lose weight and what will happen if you don't? So there you have it; 7 simple steps to achieving the weight loss you want and then keeping it off forever. What will your future look like when you've lost your excess weight?
