A stylish and functional heater and Awesome heater Review

I needed a small heater for a bedroom. The bedroom has baseboard electric heat, but curtains that hang down to the floor which cover the heater, so rather than constantly pull the curtains to the side all winter, I opted for a separate heater instead.

This heater heats a medium-sized bedroom very comfortably. In about 20 minutes, on the low setting, the room feels nice and toasty. The noise coming from the heater is similar to that of a white-noise machine on the quietest setting. I find the sound of the heater quite pleasant as it functions like a white-noise machine and helps to masks background noise.

Also appealing about this heater is the design- it is unobtrusive in both color and size, and also looks nicer overall than most small heaters. I like that it looks more like a piece of furniture than a heater.

If you are looking for a simple, nice looking heater to warm up a medium-sized room, this is a great choice for the price. The remote control is an added bonus.I love this heater! It has been a God-send! We purchased this heater at Walmart for $39.00 on sale from 49, for our 27 ft.travel trailer which - due to hard times - we have had to live in for three winters since 3/08. Went thru three small heaters first winter and then bought this pretty Lasko and it put out great heat! Sad to say, it finally gave out this a.m. 2/2011; a good length of time after such continuous usage! It has been marvelous!
Heats well, and is so much quieter; I love it because fan noise is not easy on me. Only drawbacks I would have is lack of handle to move it and the blinking light at night wakes me up at night (I'm rural people and light is also a bother at pm.) I don't need remote so would appreciate lesser cost at the 39 it was fine, especially at its good performance. (We do have to add propane furnace heat in our minus degree mountain desert winters, but we used our little heater for most usage all by itself. I love it!)
We seldom used the oscillating feature, and would love it if the timer could be set for 4 a.m. so I could sleep through the coldest part :-) but the timer helped to set it when we just would go to sleep with some warmth and not want to leave it on all night. The taller, narrow height worked way better than the short, stubby type and it did not melt like so many other 1500 watt heaters, thank you, Jesus! Praise the Lord for this heater!
